Minimal Burger
An identity for a premium burger restaurant: a burger reduced to a circle and two lines

Task
Minimal Burger makes burgers from good beef with a short menu and nothing extra. The name already states the philosophy, and the style had to prove it: look more premium than mass fast food, without shouting or cartoons, and hold up from the sign to the sticker on a sauce pot.
Solution
- The symbol is a burger reduced to the minimum: a circle cut by two lines into bun, patty and bun. It’s recognisable at a glance and needs no extra detail.
- The only colour accent is the mustard stripe in the middle of the symbol. The rest of the style is monochrome: charcoal and kraft.
- The wordmark is set in lowercase Manrope with tight tracking, and “burger” in widely spaced capitals, so the name sounds calm and confident.
- The symbol works as a module: it builds a pattern for wrapping paper where every fifth burger has mustard.
- Touchpoints: boxes and bags in matte black board, wrapping paper, cups, loyalty cards and a blade sign.
Identity
Logo
The round symbol and a lowercase “minimal” with a spaced-out “burger”. Charcoal on kraft, light on black, with the mustard kept in both versions.

How the symbol works
A circle, two cuts (bun, patty, bun) and one colour accent. Minimal means, maximum recognition.

Colours
Charcoal and kraft form the base, mustard is the only accent and ash is for secondary text. The palette keeps the brand premium.

Typeface
Manrope is a geometric sans with soft shapes. Lowercase for dish names, spaced capitals for labels and prices.

Pattern
An even grid of symbols where mustard appears on every fifth burger. It’s printed on wrapping paper and tray liners.

Packaging design isn’t one beautiful box but a system of touchpoints that makes an order recognisable before anyone opens it: boxes, bags, stickers, tape, cups, tray liners and menus.
